'Raising Digital Natives' Program Helps Parents Navigate Kids' Technology Use
There will be two sessions held Oct. 30, one for parents of elementary students and one for parents of middle school students.

The following is from Winnetka Public Schools District 36:
Raising Digital Natives is a program focused on how to best embrace the upsides of technology while navigating the challenges. Dr. Heitner will discuss ways that parents can guide their children without limiting learning opportunities.
The presentation is aligned with the goals of the District’s Mobile Learning Initiative. It goes beyond the common advice to limit screen time and offers parents concrete tips for evaluating the quality of children’s media experiences.

New Trier High School Superintendent, Dr. Linda Yonke, will meet with parents at 10:30 a.m. to answer questions about the bond referendum on the November ballot.
