Nominate Properties For Winnetka's Landmark Preservation Commission's Preservation Awards
The awards seek to honor exterior construction projects that have helped preserve the history and character of the community.

The Village of Winnetka Landmark Preservation Commission is now accepting nominations for its Preservation Awards program. The awards are an annual program that seeks to honor those exterior construction projects in the village that have helped preserve the history and character of the community. Nominate your house, your neighbor's house, or a house/institution in Winnetka that you admire. Award categories include Restoration, Rehabilitation, and New Construction for projects that have been completed in the last five years. Single-family residential, commercial/multi-family residential, and public/institutional properties are eligible.

Nomination forms can be downloaded here or obtained at Village Hall (510 Green Bay Road). Nominations for this year’s program are due by May 27, 2022. The award winners will be announced at a Village Council meeting later this year. Entries or questions can be sent to Christopher Marx in the Village’s Community Development Department (847-716-3587).
