On Wednesday, February 23, the Plan Commission will continue its work on the creation of Winnetka's next comprehensive plan, the Winnetka Futures 2040 Plan. A comprehensive plan is a long-term vision for the community that serves as an official policy statement to guide future decision making. At this meeting, the Commission will be working with The Lakota Group and Village staff on developing vision statements, goals, and initiatives for the following community pillars:

• Community Infrastructure, Services, and Technology
• Operational Efficiencies and Regional Coordination
• Sustainability and Climate Change

The meeting will be held virtually using the Zoom platform. Instructions regarding how to participate in the meeting can be found on the agenda for the meeting. More information regarding the Plan can be found on the project's website.
