Winnetka Garbage-Recycling Schedule Altered for Labor Day

The following is from the Village of Winnetka:

The Village will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 1. As such, the Public Works Department will operate on a holiday schedule for refuse/recycling collection for the week of September 1 through September 5. The holiday schedule is as follows:

Monday collections will be Tuesday, September 2
Tuesday collections will be Wednesday, September 3
Thursday and Friday collections will be as usual

The easiest way to ensure receipt of upcoming schedule changes is to register for E-Winnetka. Encourage friends and neighbors to visit the Village’s website to sign-up . A copy of the 2014 Refuse & Recycling Holiday Collection Schedule is also available online.
