'A Fantastic Affair': Winnetka Tree Lighting To Usher In Holiday Season
Santa, sweets and songs are set to bring the Winnetka community together in time-honored fashion in Dwyer Park on Friday.

WINNETKA, IL — The holiday season kicks into full gear Friday in Winnetka with the village's annual tree lighting, a cherished tradition for the community.
“Come on out, it’s always been a fantastic affair," said Village President Chris Rintz.
The tree lighting ceremony, set for 6 p.m., will feature caroling, treats, and a visit from Santa, who will be escorted to the park by the Winnetka Fire Department.
