Formerly known as The Women’s Library Club of Glencoe, our organization is one of the oldest women’s clubs in the United States. In 1874, a small group of friends regularly met to read and discuss classical and contemporary literature. Over time, the club expanded its mission to promote community improvement through volunteerism and philanthropy.
Today we continue to expand on this legacy through our annual WLC Network Community Grant Awards.
