Woman Arrested for Mid-Afternoon DUI
Someone also attempted to break into a home on Locust Street.

DUI
Gina M. Wojak, 47, of the 1000 block of Fulton Drive in Streamwood, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 13 for driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1300 block of Hackberry Lane. She was also cited for illegal transportation and possession of alcohol. She has a Dec. 1 court date.

Theft
Abel Augusto Larrain, 39, of the 200 block of North Maplewood Drive in Antioch, was arrested for theft Oct. 14. The arrest was made after an investigation into an incident that occurred Oct. 11. He has an Oct. 24 court date.

Fraud
A resident reported that between Oct. 8 and 14, someone attempted to fraudulently obtain funds through a Moneypak Exchange. There was no loss.
Bike stolen
Someone stole an unlocked men’s black and blue Schwinn bike worth $400 from a bike rack in the 500 block of Hibbard Road between 5:45 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 15.
Cash stolen
An employee in the 900 block of Green Bay Road discovered that between Oct. 9 and 11, someone removed $700 cash from her purse, which was left in an employee-only area.
Identity theft
A resident reported that someone filed a false tax return using their personal information. There is no reported loss.
Residential burglary
Someone damaged a rear door and window while attempted to enter a home in the 500 block of Locust Street between 4:45 and 6 p.m. Oct. 18. Repair costs are $400.
