Acclaimed Interior Designer to Attend Scott Shuptrine Interiors Grand Opening

Jamie Drake, the internationally renowned interior designer known for creating delightfully distinctive color-drenched spaces, will share his exuberant design and style secrets with guests at Scott Shuptrine Interiors, 1021 Butterfield Road in Downers Grove, from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 29.

The event will celebrate the Chicago debut of Scott Shuptrine Interiors, the luxury division of Art Van Furniture, and the public is invited to attend.

Drake, named among the world’s top 100 designers and architects by Architectural Digest in 2014, will also introduce the furniture line he created for Theodore Alexander, considered one of the finest upholstery manufacturers in America. The pieces, displayed in Scott Shuptrine Interiors’ stunning 10,000 square foot home furnishings gallery, feature Drake’s trademark use of color, and an eclectic mix of materials such as rich mahogany, leather, hammered brass, stone and mother of pearl.
