Woodridge Police Reports: Disorderly Conduct, Gas Theft, Burgalry

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through Oct. 9

At approximately 11:37 p.m. Oct. 9, Jasmine Owens, 21 of the 2500 block of Forest Drive in Woodridge was charged with disorderly conduct and assault following a disturbance in the 7900 block of Janes Avenue.

A theft occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. Oct. 10 at Thornton’s Gas Station, 2401 63rd St. Someone pumped $21.18 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying.

A residential burglary was reported at approximately 9 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 1200 block of Somerset Lane. Someone entered through a window that had been forced open. No items were observed to have been taken.

At approximately 10 p.m. Oct. 10, Sarah Contreras-Caproni, 20 of the 8300 block of David Drive in Woodridge, was charged with criminal damage to property following a the investigation of a disturbance in the 8300 block of David Drive.

At approximately 3:03 a.m. Oct. 11, Yaromyr Ambrozyak, age 18 of the 2300 block of Elm Street in River Grove, and Vladyslav Paliy, age 19 of the 2500 block of West Walton Street in Chicago, were both charged with reckless conduct following a traffic stop, 75th Street east of Route 53.

At approximately 8:05 p.m. Oct 11, Juan Ramirez, age 44 of the 10 0 block of S. Lincoln in Addison, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following the investigation of a disabled vehicle on 75th Street at I-355.

A residential burglary was reported at approximately 11:01 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 9300 block of Keswick Drive. Someone entered through a door that had been forced open. No items were observed to have been taken.

A theft occurred at approximately 11:18 p.m. Oct. 14 at Thornton’s Gas Station, 2401 63rd Street. Someone pumped $37.47 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying.

A burglary occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Oct. 15 and 8 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 8400 block of Chelsea Lane. Someone entered an open garage and removed an air hose and an extension cord.
