First Two Restaurants Sign On For Fishers' Culinary Incubator

Two St. Elmo spinoffs are the first to secure spots in a $40 million Fishers' dining district and culinary incubator set to open in 2019.

FISHERS, Ind.-- Two St. Elmo spinoffs are the first to secure spots in a $40 million Fishers' dining district and culinary incubator set to open in the summer of 2019.

Fishers officials announced Wednesday that Burger Study and 1933 Lounge will be among nearly 20 restaurants at The Yard foodie hub, which will be located on 116th Street near Interstate 69.

Burger Study is a locally owned, premium, full-service burger restaurant and bar, "dedicated to elevating and expanding one’s perception of what a burger can be."

St. Elmo President Craig Huse told Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness in a recorded interview that 1933 Lounge will present a "rich and warm" setting for cocktails and conversation.

"As you become an adult your tastes elevates as well," Huse said in the video, which was posted Wednesday to the city's Facebook page. "Our burgers are the type you would make for yourself if you had a last meal request."

Developers will be continuing to sign on as many as 18 restaurants for The Yard in the coming months and year.
