INDIANAPOLIS -- Police were on the scene Wednesday evening of a fatal shooting on the city's east side, where at least one person was found dead.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near an apartment complex in the 4100 block of Newburgh Drive, The Indy Channel said.
