Gary, IN— Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

I have watched him grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. He excels academically and is a well-mannered and goal-orientated young man. He represents his family, school, and community with positive actions, winning numerous local, state, and national awards.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Joseph is a wonderful role model. He is an encouraging young man ready to assist others. He is someone we can all be proud of, and he is working hard to achieve his goals.
