AES (Advanced Engineering Services) is a Hammond-based geotechnical engineering services company that engineers the soil-structure interaction by sampling from project sites, testing them in the field and lab and analyzing them to develop various geotechnical parameters in order to complement the design of the project. AES was represented at the event by AES President, Akhtar Zaman and several AES employees who are PNW alumni.

AES also provides internship opportunities to PNW students. “The most valuable experiences that we can provide to our students are those applied experiences that they get when they work closely with companies,” said Chris Holford, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
