Investigators ruled Wednesday that the cause of a widespread Massachusetts ​Avenue fire earlier this month was likely an onsite gas grill.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Investigators ruled Wednesday that the cause of a widespread Massachusetts Avenue fire earlier this month was likely an onsite gas grill.

The roof of a condominium complex at 765 Massachusetts Ave. ignited on the morning of Dec. 8, causing $500,000 in damage, according to the Indy Channel. Fire officials said the blaze was accidental.
