DTLR and PUMA® Partner to Donate Bikes and Celebrate Summer with Youth
The event at Southlake Mall included a bike giveaway, in-store raffle, and unique shoe customization by local artist with shoe purchase
WHAT: On Saturday, June 1, DTLR, a highly successful lifestyle retailer with over 250 stores in 21 states, partnered with PUMA to host a special event at Southlake Mall in Merrillville, Indiana, celebrating the end of the school year and promoting a positive summer activity for the local youth. Just in time for World Bike Day on Monday, June 3, the event featured a donation of 120 bikes and 120 helmets to children who attend, while supplies last.
In addition to the bike giveaway to youth, 25 bikes were raffled off to local customers who signed up at the DTLR store inside the mall. PUMA also highlighted their GV Special shoe during the activation — where customers who purchased a pair of GV Specials in the DTLR store at Southlake Mall received free shoe customization from renowned local artist Dre the Shoe God.
DTLR takes pride in its role in fashion, music and culture, and gives back to the communities it serves through several other programs, including toy drives and partnerships with athletes and recording artists to support local schools and communities.
