International Women's Day Celebration at Lowcountry

Live Music, Cocktails and Charitable Contributions

Lowcountry, co-owned by female restaurateur Dana Hompluem, will honor International Women's Day with a seafood soiree! This year's IWD campaign theme, "Accelerate Action" will be at the heart of Lowcountry's event, featuring live music, specialty cocktails, and a portion of the proceeds benefiting a female-focused charitable organization.

On Saturday, March 8, Lowcountry's Merrillville location will host a festive evening filled with $8 Violet Femme cocktails (purple hued libation made with vodka, creme de violette, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, lemon juice), celebratory seafood boils, and high energy jazz by Carlton of the Soul Entertainers featuring Arlene Taylor from 6-8 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear purple attire to mark the occasion. A portion of the sales on March 8 will be donated to Women4Change Indiana.
