Concerto Competition Winner to Perform with Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra November 19.
Veronica Tartak, 11 year old violin student of Kamen Vatchev, is the winner of the Janet Kuester Concerto Competition which was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Richton Park, Illinois on September 3rd.
She will be performing Concerto in A Minor by Vivaldi with Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra on November 19th at 4 PM at Crete United Methodist Church, 1321 Main Street, Crete, Illinois.

Veronica began her studies at 7 years old with Suhae Lee at the Settlement School in Philadelphia 2019-2022. The family relocated to Indiana in 2022 where she began her studies with Kamen Vatchev in August of 2022. Her greatest passion is playing the violin. Her hobbies include, composing music for violin, robotics team at school, writing fantasy stories, swimming, ice skating, and reading.
The concert will also include performances of Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra, Suburban Youth Junior Symphony Orchestra performing works of Holfeldt and Balmages. The violin students of the Incredible Opportunity Program, which gives students an opportunity to learn a string instrument will also be featured.

The orchestras are directed by David Forsman. Incredible Opportunity Program is directed by Brian Ostrega. Admission is free.
