Girl Scouts GCNWI Come Together for Through the Decades Sneaker Ball

Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana invited troops and families to celebrate 111 years of Girl Scouts with Sneaker Ball

On Saturday, March 11, local girls and families from Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana came together to celebrate 111 years of girl scouting with its Girl Scouts Through the Decades Sneaker Ball. The ball was attended by around 400 individuals from the Northwest Indiana area; girls enjoyed a night full of food, dancing, activities and fun while they were decked out in their fanciest clothes paired with their favorite sneakers.

Attendees had the ability to design their own sneakers (pictured) and participate in the Sneaker Ball fashion show to spotlight their outfits. The ball was a great opportunity for local girls to connect with their peers and have an entertaining night surrounded by empowerment and fun.
