Ames had two wrestlers qualify for the tournament, and one earned a respectable seventh place finish at his weight class on Saturday.
Nathan Twito, a senior, fell out of the championship bracket in the first round, but won four matches in the consolation bracket to earn a seventh place finish at 132 pounds.
