2013 Kindergarten Registration and Early Kindergarten Meeting in Ames

The Ames Community School District is holding two events next week for families of children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 15 and a third event to offer information about early kindergarten for children with summer birthdays.

Kindergarten Registration

The District is offering kindergarten registration from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday and from 4 to 8 p.m.,Thursday, at Northwood Preschool Center, 3012 Duff Ave. This for children who will be 5 by Sept. 15.

Early Kindergarten Information Meeting

Parents of children with summer birthdays who have questions about early kindergarten options can attend an information meeting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, also at Northwood Preschool Center, 3012 Duff Ave.
