7 Reasons Why You Should Buy Tickets to Ames High School's Ye Old Madrigal Dinner
A king, a queen, a jester, ladies and lords tell us why we all should watch this year's Ye Old Madrigal Dinner.
When the church door opens on Ames High School's 24th annual "Ye Old Madrigal Dinner" Nov. 29, the students will have spent 10 weeks and countless hours working to take its dinner guests back to the Renaissance era for an evening of beautiful songs, comedic entertainment and food.
The time honored tradition at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1416 20th St. will include much of the same songs and costumes that performers have been using through the years. But each year the make up of the Madrigal group is a little different.
Lady of the House Melissa Jones, an Ames High School senior who has participated in the show for three years, said this year's music is a bit sillier than in years past.
