(October 29, 2021) - The Ames Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission is pleased to welcome Jason Mohr to the team as the Director of Government Relations & Business Services.

As the new Director of Government Relations & Business Services, Mohr will lead all aspects of the Government Relations Program. Among other duties, this position includes assisting with fundraising efforts for the Public Policy Program, overseeing the BRE Program, and managing BEST of Iowa requirements.

β€œI look forward to meeting and working with many of the great organizations in and around the Ames area," said Mohr. β€œI want to have open communication to better serve these organizations."

Before arriving in Ames, Mohr spent 16 years working alongside Senator Grassley as the Senator's Regional Director for Northeast Iowa until 2018. Most recently, Mohr served as Senior HUD Official for Region VII and reported to the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
