Ames Eco Fair Opens at 10 a.m.

Ames residents interested in learning more about water conservation, reducing electric consumption, shrinking their carbon footprint and getting involved in environmental issues can learn more about all those things at the City of Ames Eco Fair.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Community Center Gymnasium, 515 Clark Ave.

The gym will be filled with booths from vendors, activity stations and displays.
