Ames Hershey Youth Track and Field Meet Registration Deadline May 6

The 2013 Local Hershey Youth Track and Field meet begins 6:30 p.m. May 8 at Ames High School, 1921 Ames High Drive.

The meet is open to all boys and girls who will be between the ages of 9 – 14 by Dec. 31. Registrations are due by May 6.

Events include the 50, 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes along with an 800 and 1600 meter run and a

4x100 meter relay. Field events include a standing long jump and softball throw. The first place finisher

in each event will qualify for the June 15 state meet in Marshalltown.
