Ames High School Turns Pink for Breast Cancer

Ames High School students decorated their school with pink ribbons and balloons to recognize breast cancer awareness week last week.

About 117.8 to 121.4 per 100,000 Iowan women had breast control in 2008 and about 23.8 to 26.5 per 100,000 Iowan women died from breast cancer that same year, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control.
