Ames Police and Medicap Pharmacy Offer Drug Drop Off

Medicap Pharmacy and the Ames Police Department are offering a Medication Disposal event to keep the waters clean and harmful medicines out of the hands of children. 

Medication can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Medicap Pharmacy at 105 Lincoln Way and controlled substances can be delivered from 10 a.m. to noon. 

Prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, and vitamins will be accepted. Needles and syringes will not.
