
A 20-year-old man was recently charged with third-degree sex abuse, a Class C felony, and tampering with a witness.
According to an article in the Ames Tribune, Nefi Jacob Torres, 20, was accused of assaulting an 18-year-old woman in October. A warrant was filed in March and Torres was arrested April 22.

Zachary Bolar, 32, Marshalltown, was charged with failure to appear at 4:50 p.m.
Thok Khat, 18, homeless, was charged with failure to appear at 11:15 a.m.
April 25
Evan Taylor-Poinsette, 20, Billy Sunday Road, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Possession of drug paraphernalia, at 10:35 p.m.
