Ames Police: Man Sells Marijuana Twice

Ames Police Blotter Feb. 12 to Feb. 14.

An Ames man has been charged with three class D felonies related to marijuana possession, according to criminal complaints.

Sean Strub, 24, Lincoln Way, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance at 11 a.m. Feb. 13, after an ongoing investigation.

Strub sold marijuana to an informant on Jan. 24 and Feb. 7, according to complaints. Police obtained a search warrant and searched the man's home on Feb. 13 and found three separate bags of marijuana and other items including a digital scale. The possession charges are all Class D felonies. Strub was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 12

Aaron Adam, 22, Welch Ave., was charged with nuisance party regulations at 12:01 a.m.

John Audet, 39, Rhode Island, was charged with public intoxication, second offense; at 8 p.m.

Jordan Morris, 20, Welch Ave., was charged with possession of alcohol under at at 12:01 a.m.

Adam Wauters, 19, Welch Ave., was charged with possession of alcohol under age at 12:01 a.m.

Feb. 13

Elizabeth Binder, Dotson Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct at 5:45 p.m.

Matthew Bryant, 23, Steinbeck Street, was charged with operating under the influence, first offense; at 12:15 a.m.

Curtis Clark, 61, homeless, was charged with public intoxication, third offense at 8:26 p.m.

Norma Lem, 85, Northwestern Ave., was charged with duties on striking unattended vehicles at 12:01 a.m.

Robert Morgan, Story City, was charged with third-degree burglary from a vehicle, at 8 p.m.

Mark Smith, 44, Kamrar, was charged with driving while barred at 2:28 a.m.

Juan Segovia, 22, Stanton Ave., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance at 1:02 a.m.

Feb. 14

Andrew Burgart, 21, Urbandale, was charged with public intoxication at 1 a.m.

Steven Catus, 22, Delaware Ave., was charged with operating under the influence, first offense; at 1:12 a.m.

Brittany Conant, 22, Wisconsin, was charged with accessory after the fact at 9:35 p.m.

Adam-Cade Gilson, 28, Wisconsin, was charged with third-degree shoplifting at 9:35 p.m.

Timothy Highland, 37, Lincoln Way, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender at 4:35 p.m.
