An Ames woman received minor injuries when two vehicles collided near 550th and 180th streets about noon Monday in Story County, according to a report from the Story County Sheriff's Office.
Noah Branson, of Gilbert, was driving a Toyota Camry south on 550th Street and turned left onto 180th Street striking a Toyota Corolla driven by Larry Huisman, of Ames, who was heading west on 180th Street, the report states.
Lyndell Huisman, a passenger in Huisman's vehicle, was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Both cars had to be towed from the scene.
