Building Official Finalist Withdraws; No Public Presentation on Friday

AMES, Iowa – Blas Hernandez, of Urbandale, Iowa, has withdrawn his name from consideration for the position of Building Official. Hernandez was scheduled to give a public presentation from 4 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. That presentation has been cancelled. 

Rich Russell, of Dubuque, Iowa, will give a public presentation from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29. Christopher Kiel, of Oro Valley, Ariz., will give his public presentation on from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8. Both presentations will be held in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 515 Clark Ave.
