Bliss Exhibit Ends Today and Cruise for a Cure Ride is Sunday
Cancer Awareness events in Ames during Breast Cancer Awareness month conclude this weekend.

Ames residents can participate in two cancer awareness events during Breast Cancer Awareness month this weekend.
The Bliss Cancer Center at Mary Greeley Medical Center will host the Lily Oncology on Canvas through Friday. The exhibit honors "the journeys people face when confronted by a cancer diagnosis," according to lilyoncologyoncanvas.com.
Anyone who wants to take a fall ride and fundraise for cancer can join the Ames Local 625 Cruise for a Cure Oct. 21. Firefighters will also sell the pink T-shirts made for Breast Cancer Awareness last October and raise additional funds through cruise registration fees.
