The City of Ames, in partnership with Iowa State University, will release the findings of two traffic stop studies conducted by CR Research Group at a joint meeting of the Ames City Council and ISU Student Government on Thursday, Feb. 10.Â

The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ames City Auditorium, 520 Sixth St. (the north side of Ames City Hall). Members of the Ames and Iowa State communities are invited to attend and will have an opportunity to ask questions following the presentation. Copies of the research group’s reports will be available after the meeting on the Ames and Iowa State websites.
Reporters will have an opportunity to meet with Ames Police Chief Geoff Huff and Iowa State University Police Chief Michael Newton immediately following the meeting.
