Douglas Avenue Closed Three Months

Douglas Avenue will be closed from Main to Fifth streets for a major street reconstruction project starting Tuesday.

The three-month project includes the removal and replacement of the street and sidewalks, as well as reconstruction of water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer. 

No vehicles will be allowed through the construction area, and drivers should consider alternate routes. However, pedestrian access to all businesses will be maintained.
