The closure of this intersection had been delayed to keep the street open to traffic as long as possible.

Douglas Avenue from Main Street to Fifth Street is undergoing a major street reconstruction that began April 8. The project is estimated to take three months blocking access to motor traffic. Pedestrian access to all businesses will be maintained.
