Election 2012: Ames Residents Take Down Those Political Signs

City of Ames said the election is over it's time to remove candidate yard signs.

The election is over so the City of Ames reminded residents to remove those campaign signs.

The City of Ames issued a press release to remind people of city sign rules one of them says signs must be removed within 90 days.

Basically signs have to be on the yard side of the sidewalk about 15 feet from the curb, never block the view of on-coming traffic and be posted less than 90 days in a row.
