ACSD Technology Committee Meets at 4 p.m.

Ames Community School District's Technology Committee meets 4 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 27 at the Crawford Educational Services Center, Conference Room B, 415 Stanton Ave.

1) Introduction of members and reminder of Purpose of Committee.

Purpose of Committee:

The purpose of the District Technology Committee is to advise the Director of Technology on key aspects of the use of technology by students and staff. These key aspects include, but are not limited to:

1) developing a vision of how technology is used across the district

2) translating that vision into the District’s Technology Plan (due to the board in May)

3) improving the depth and breadth of technology integration K-12

4) providing the resources necessary for students and staff to use technology efficiently (including hardware, software, online subscriptions, bandwidth, and professional development)

5) policies and procedures related to the use of technology.
