Evenings @ the Garden

AMES, IOWA – Ames Public Library is “Digging Into Reading” at Squaw Creek Community Garden Plot 1.
Families are invited to join Ames Public Library staff members at 7pm on Tuesday, June 11, for Garden+Crafts=FUN! Come make some fun crafts and help us measure the progress of our plants. 
The community garden is located near Squaw Creek, just two blocks south the intersection of South Maple Avenue and South 4th Street in Ames.

In addition to garden-related craft activities once a month, children can come to the garden 8-9am on Mondays for guidance and hands-on experience in planting, maintaining, and harvesting throughout the growing season.
