Fourth of July Fireworks in Ames Friday
Ames on the Half Shell concert Friday at the Bandshell Park.

The Young Professionals of Ames has taken over the annual Fourth of July fireworks show formerly sponsored by the Ames Jaycees and has planned a show for Friday July 5.
This year's show is set for dusk Friday and is prepared to launch them from Iowa State University's lot G7, east of University Boulevard and Jack Trice Stadium.
Also Friday will be the Ames JAYCEE's Ames on the Half Shell concert at the bandshell park.

Salty View's Acoustic Review plans to perform between 5 and 8 p.m.
Admittance is $4 for adults. Children 11 and under get in free.
