Gov. Branstad, Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds Stop in Ames Monday

Both Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds will be available to the public prior to the Story County Republican Central Committee meeting and fundraiser on Monday.

Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds will stop at the Oakwood Road Community Center to meet with residents about 5 p.m. Monday, just before the start of a Republican committee meeting and fundraiser.

The visit is open to the public and will take place from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Branstad and Reynolds are expected to speak as well as meet and great the crowd. The community center is located at 2400 Oakwood Road in Ames.

People are also allowed to stay after the visit to watch the Story County Republican Central Committee meeting. A free will donation to benefit Story County Republicans will be taken at the door, according to the release.
