Iowa State Basketball and Tyrus McGee Make 3-point History
Cyclone's Men's Basketball Team made history this season.

The Iowa State Men's Basketball Team's three-point shooters of 2012-13 helped the Cyclones achieve “a historical feat” in its 106 year history, a release from the athletics department states.
Iowa State ended the season as the nation's leader in 3-pointers per game and Senior Tyrus McGee became the first Cyclone player to top a statistical category by leading the nation in three point shooting. McGee made 46.4 percent of his three-point shots.
The team averaged 9.9 3-pointers per game this season.
