Iowa State's Treasures of the Textiles and Clothing Museum Closes Sunday

It's your last chance to see a bit of the Textiles and Clothing Museum's treasures.

People stopping in town for VEISHEA will have the chance to see the 'Treasures of the Textiles and Clothing Museum' exhibit in the Mary Alice Gallery at 1015 Morrill Hall.

The exhibit's last day is Sunday.

Pieces include a Carrie Chapman Catt dress and 1924 Olympian Eric Wilson's sweater and cap. The museum has been in Morrill Hall for five years however the collection date back to the creation of Iowa State.

Early items include coats from the 1700s.

The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday.
