Iowa State University's 100th Homecoming Celebration Begins Oct. 22

Iowa State University's 100 Homecoming celebration is just weeks away.

The Cytennial celebration as it's being called begins Oct. 22.

Here's a list of the events happening so far from the Iowa State University Alumni Association:

Friday, Oct. 26

Make our Spirits Great: 
100 Years of Homecoming History Exhibit
Spec. Coll. Reading Rm., 403 Parks Lib., 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Butter Cy Sculpture on display
Kildee Hall, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Alumni FAC featuring Standing Hampton
Campustown, 3-7 p.m.

Pep Rally & Centennial Celebration
ISU Alumni Center, 5-9 p.m. (pep rally at 7 p.m.)

ExCYtement in the Streets
Greek Community, 8-10 p.m.

Brantley Gilbert's Hell on Wheels Tour
Hilton Coliseum, 8 p.m.

Pancakes, Mass Campaniling, and Fireworks
Central Campus, 10 p.m.-1 a.m.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Butter Cy Sculpture on display
Kildee Hall, 7:30 a.m.-kickoff

Animal Science Chuckwagon Breakfast
Kildee Hall, 8 a.m. (for an sci alumni & friends)

Homecoming Tailgate (Cyclone Central)
ISU Alumni Center, 3 hrs. prior to kickoff

Homecoming Breakfast on Main
American Legion Post #37, 225 Main St., 8-11 a.m.

All-you-care to eat pancakes, sausage, coffee, and orange drink for $5 per person
