ISU Cy's Rule: Marijuana Leaves and Raygun Need Not Apply Or Just Forgot To
ISU Trademark Agency demands Raygun shirts featuring "Mayor" Fred Hoiberg be sent to their office.

Iowa State University's licensing office recently forced a student NORML group to stop using a Cy mascot on their club T-shirt after public backlash and now it's set its sights on a Raygun shirt using the βThe Mayorβ Fred Hoiberg's likeness and the school's cardinal and gold colors.
While the NORML group had acquired proper permissions for Cy's use, Raygun didn't ask for permission to create its latest work of art.
A letter from the school's trademark managing agency with a few photoshopped Yadda Yaddas appears on Raygun's Facebook page and states that the shirts must be removed from online and retail venues and all T-shirts should be sent to the University's new trademark managing agency, Licensing Resource Group.
