ISU Will Dance Til it Drops Saturday

Children's Miracle Network fundraiser starts Saturday morning at Memorial Union.

Iowa State University's Dance Marathon fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital organization begins at 7 a.m. Saturday at the Memorial Union.

They don't exactly have to dance though. According to an article in the Iowa State Daily, β€œdancers” will stay on their feet for 15 hours listening to music, playing games eating and more.

Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathons are replicated throughout the country involving 150 schools nationwide, according to the Children's Miracle Network.

The nonprofit organization raises funds for 170 children's hospitals and are committed to sending 100 percent of funds raised to hospitals in the community they were raised in, DanceMarathon.org says.
