Men Arrested After Ames Bar Fight

An Ames and a Baxter man face multiple charges after allegedly fighting one another at DG's Tap House and one of them kicked a police officer Saturday night, according to complaints.

Dylan Hansen, 21, of Baxter, was charged with disorderly conduct, interference with official acts and public intoxication and Andrew Orey, 21, of Mulberry Boulevard, was charged with assault on a police officer, interference with official acts, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Police were called to the bar just before 11 p.m. for a fight, according to complaints. Both men ran when police arrived and were captured shortly afterward, according to complaints.

When Orey was arrested he kicked and struck an officer with his feet, according to complaints. Both men showed signs of public intoxication, complaints said.

Emily Amodeo, 25, Jewel Drive, was charged with driving while revoked at 12:30 a.m.

June 1


Daniel Adkins, 24, Boone, was charged with public intoxication at 12:55 a.m.

Dylan Hansen, 21, Baxter, was charged with disorderly conduct, interference with official acts and public intoxication at 10:50 p.m.

Andrew Orey, 21, Mulberry Boulevard, was charged with assault on a police officer, interference with official acts, public intoxication and disorderly conduct at 10:42 p.m.

Gabiel Stearns, 22, Billy Sunday Road, was charged with nuisance party regulations at 5:12 p.m.

Malachi Woods, 23, Maricopa Drive, was charged with failure to appear at 7:15 p.m.

June 2


Henrietta Fuller, 24, Clark Ave., was charged with possession of a controlled substance at 8:44 p.m.

June 3


Valeria Saxton, 42, Orange Ave., was charged with identity theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and fifth-degree theft at 10:26 p.m.

June 4


Anthony Williams, 23, Stonehaven Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating while intoxicated, first offense; failure to carry a registration card, and failure to use headlamps when required.

June 5


Margaret Piepenbrink, 22, Dickinson Ave., was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; at 1:25 a.m.
