More Snow For the Weekend? But It's Spring!
Spring or no spring, we could see more of the white stuff this weekend. But there is also hope for warmer temperatures in the forecast.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Ames, but despite spring having officially arrived, we could still see more snow this weekend.
The National Weather Service predicts a 50 percent chance of snow overnight Saturday and into Sunday. AccuWeather says we could get 1 to 2 inches.
However, it should stay fairly warm (yes, all things are relative). The forecast calls for temperatures in the 30s most of the week, with highs in the low 40s on Wednesday and Thursday.
