VIDEO: Harrison Barnes Knocked Out of Game After Vicious Fall: NBA Playoffs Final Results

Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs squared off in Oakland, CA on Thursday evening in the NBA Playoffs.

Harrison Barnes left the game after a brutal fall, and the Golden State Warriors fell to the San Antonio Spurs in games six of the NBA Western Conference playoffs on Thursday evening.

The Spurs won 94-82 and advance to the Western Conference finals after taking the series 4-2. They will face the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Ames native Barnes, a 20-year-old rookie, has been credited throughout the playoffs for his mature play. He got knocked off balance in the second quarter while in the air and fell to the ground. His hands were tied up, and could not protect himself as he crashed down, smacking his head hard. Β

The former Ames High standout was down and play stopped for several minutes before he got up and walked to the locker room under his own power. He ended up returning to start the second half after receiving six stitches. Bruising on his face wasΒ noticeable.Β 

He ended up leaving the game again in the second half with headaches and did not return.Β
