NBA Update: Checking Up on Former Ames and North Carolina Standout Harrison Barnes

Harrison Barnes has had his share of ups and downs in the first half of his first season in the NBA.

But, no one can take away a highlight reel worthy one-handed jam by the former Ames Little Cyclone.

Barnes, 20, who led Ames to two consecutive state championships, was drafted No. 7 overall by the Golden State Warriors in the NBA draft after attending University of North Carolina for two years.

Golden State was playing Minnesota Timerwolves in November when Barnes glided down the lane for a powerful dunk. Take a look at a video clip.
