Iowa State Men's Basketball team members invited to participate in All-Star Game and 3-Point Championship.
Iowa State Men's Basketball Seniors Will Clyburn and Tyrus McGee; and Coach Fred Hoiberg will head to the Final Four after all.
Clyburn will play one more basketball game as a college student in the 2013 Reese's College All-Star Game on Friday. And McGee will be able to show off his three-point shot in the 2013 State Farm College 3-Point Championship Thursday. Hoiberg will also coach one of the two teams in the National Association of Basketball Coaches game.
“I thought my last college game was going to be when we lost to Ohio State so I'm pretty excited to get out there and have some fun,” Clyburn told Cyclones.TV.

Ohio State beat Iowa State with one three-point basket and advanced to the Sweet 16, where they lost to Wichita State.
The All Stars game will give Clyburn, who is listed among NBA mock draft picks, another chance to prove himself in front of NBA scouts, Hoiberg told Cyclones.TV.

Hoiberg, who will coach one of the teams, was invited to play on the All-Star team as a Cyclone in 1995 and won MVP honors.
“I had one of those games where everything I threw up went in. It was a fun experience, now I get the opportunity to coach some of these great kids,” Hoiberg told Cyclones.TV.
The All-Stars game takes place at 4 p.m. Friday in the Georgia Dome. Admission is free.
McGee will participate in the 3 point contest on Thursday. That contest and a slam dunk contest will be broadcast on ESPN at 6 p.m.
McGee leads the nation in the three point shooting with a field goal percentage of more than 46 percent.
“For a guy that's a volume shooter, that's an unbelievable number,” Hoiberg told Cyclones.TV
