Marcus Johnson of Ames British Foods has been working to improve the Chip Shop/Char's BP location to make a new home for three businesses.
Ames British Foods, The Chip Shop and Mucky Duck Pub are expected to open at 3100 S. Duff Ave. on Aug. 19.
Gas pumps have been removed and the exterior of the former Irish restaurant/service station has been painted green.
